WASHINGTON, DC (September 13, 2018) — NAACP Washington Bureau Director & Senior Vice President for Advocacy and Policy Hilary Shelton will discuss the Associations role in Federal criminal justice reform efforts during the 48th Annual Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference. The What is Real Justice Reform Braintrust will focus on Federal policy makers limited success in reforming our long-broken criminal justice system. This panel will bring together national leaders and experts to discuss a framework for evaluating true criminal justice reform proposals, and what the future of criminal justice reform should be.
