March For Our Lives Tour Joins NAACP in Digital Voter Registration Drive
Event to Utilize Social Media to Register Voters and Highlight 53rdAnniversary of VRA
BALTIMORE, MD – On the 53rd anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, student leaders from the March For Our Lives: Road To Change bus tour visit NAACP headquarters today to participate in an online voter registration and digital engagement event. Students will unite with NAACP members to register voters and discuss the importance of voting on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
This event is one stop in a national tour to mobilize young people to take action and organize against gun violence. Students are hosting town halls, voter registration events, BBQs, and more to register people to vote and speak out against gun violence and support sensible gun reform laws across the country.
