Washington, D.C. — NAACP Senior Director of Economic Programs Marvin Owens will discuss the intersection of economics and environmental justice during the 48th Annual Congressional Black Caucus Legislative Conference. The Environmental Justice Braintrust will focus on identifying environmental issues and strategies designed to assist policy makers in the development of forward-thinking, comprehensive environmental policy that recognizes and fosters the unique relationship between environmental protection, human health, environmental justice and economic development.
